Andreas Tolpeit, an Italian citizen, has been Chief Financial Officer at Sunrise and a member of the Sunrise Executive Committee since 1 September 2026. In this role, he is responsible for financial value creation at Sunrise as well as capital structure and capital allocation. In addition, he leads Investor Relations, Procurement, Financial Reporting, Tax and Treasury.

Andreas has extensive international experience in finance, strategy and transformation. Before joining Sunrise, he was Group CFO of the global private schools group Cognita, headquartered in London. In this role, he sustainably improved financial performance, significantly increased the operating margin and strengthened the capital structure. He was also responsible for Technology & Innovation as well as the AI strategy, and drove the group’s digital transformation.

Prior to this, Andreas Tolpeit worked at the investment group Jacobs Holding in Zurich. As Head of Investments, he led the development and scaling of international platforms in the areas of dental care and education. His responsibilities included developing corporate strategies, debt and equity financing, international expansion and M&A transactions, while also gaining experience in the Swiss capital market. He began his career in investment banking at Rothschild & Co. in Frankfurt.

Andreas Tolpeit is a graduate of Università Bocconi in Milan and holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Law as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
