Wolfgang Elsässer is a German citizen and, as of 1 July 2026, Chief Consumer Officer Main Brand (CCO) at Sunrise and a member of the Sunrise Executive Committee. In his role as CCO, he is responsible for the strategic and operational development of the core brand’s consumer business and for driving its growth.

Most recently, Wolfgang Elsässer served as CEO of CH Media TV AG, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of the TV and streaming business, leading a comprehensive Swiss entertainment offering with national and regional TV channels as well as the streaming platform oneplus. He was also a member of the Executive Board of CH Media AG.

Prior to that, he was CEO of blue Entertainment AG and Global Head of Media & Entertainment at Swisscom, where he played a key role in shaping the entertainment and media business. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Chief Entertainment Officer at Deutsche Telekom AG and held international leadership roles at SES Astra, where he drove the internationalisation and digitalisation of the European TV and platform business.

Wolfgang Elsässer holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
