During the session, Sunrise apprentices share information with you, personally and directly, about our apprenticeships and tell you what their work days at Sunrise UPC look like.

Not only is the entire morning info session conducted by our apprentices – they also organize and plan it themselves. This means that you will receive information you definitely need, and you can ask any questions you might have in a relaxed environment.
Whether it's useful tips regarding the job application, detailed information on the individual careers or a day at the vocational school: once you have attended the morning info session, you will know everything you need to know about your dream job.

Which career is right for me?

Are you still unsure which career to train for? That’s not a problem! You can look at all our careers and compare them with each other. By the way, on this page, you will also find some notes about the careers and what their prerequisites are.

This is not your typical information session!

At our morning info session, you will receive information and can ask questions, and you will also be able try your hand at some tasks yourself or watch employees and apprentices at work.

Structure

Although our informational sessions are organized by our apprentices, the way they are structured is totally up to you. The goal of the information session is to give you a better idea about the various careers; however, this will only work if we work together with you.

You ask all the questions you have, and we answer them. In addition, we will show you some presentations about Sunrise and various careers. And finally, you will be able to visit the work areas where the individual jobs are performed. We do all this with the goal of facilitating your decision regarding the career that is right for you.

Where?

The information morning takes place at the Sunrise headquarters at Thurgauerstrasse 101 in 8152 Glattpark (Opfikon).

The building is located directly in front of the Glattpark tram stop. To get to the entrance, you have to walk around the car garage on the right-hand side.

What do I do when I’m there?

Once you have successfully registered and received an e-mail confirmation, you can head to the Sunrise reception desk on the selected date at 9:00.

Once you have registered at the reception desk, you will wait next door until someone comes to pick you up. You will find more information in the invitation.

What should you bring?

You don't have to bring anything with you, but a notebook and pen will be useful so that you can take notes on all the information you need.

You will receive a reference confirmation for participation in our Sunrise morning info session.
