  • You can record a greeting. This greeting plays every time a caller is forwarded to your Sunrise mailbox.
  • Use this option to record a personal message for callers. It lets the caller know that he/she has dialed the correct number, and it increases the chance that the caller actually leaves a voicemail for you.
  • This is similar to your personal greeting; however, instead of recording a complete greeting, all you record is your first and last name. When callers are forwarded to your Sunrise mailbox, they hear a standard message along with your name recorded by you.

    Example

“You have reached the mailbox of Daniela Müller.”

  • The temporary greeting allows you to, for example, let callers know about your vacation absence without having to delete your regular greeting.

As soon as you have recorded a temporary greeting, it plays for callers instead of your regular greeting and remains active until you delete it again.

To ensure that you are aware that your temporary greeting is active, your Sunrise mailbox reminds you of this every time you retrieve your messages.

Once you delete your temporary greeting, the previously active regular greeting plays again.

    This is how it works:

    • Enter the key sequence **9 (mailbox options) in your Sunrise mailbox.
    • Then press 1 for greetings
    • Press 1 again for personal greeting, 2 for voice signature and 3 for temporary greeting.
    • The Sunrise mailbox instructs you on all your current options.

    Please note:

    • If you have recorded a personal greeting as well as a voice signature, callers will hear your personal greeting.
    • If you would like your voice signature to be played instead, please delete your personal greeting.
    • To delete your temporary greeting, please play it and then press 2 to delete it.
  • Your Sunrise mailbox gives you different options to adapt your voice mail to your individual needs.
  • You need your mailbox password to access your Sunrise mailbox from a different (mobile) phone or when you are abroad.

    This is how it works:

    • In your Sunrise mailbox, press the key sequence **9 and then press 4.
    • Now press 1 to set up a new mailbox password.
    • Now enter your new 4-digit password. Then press pound (#). For security reasons, your mailbox repeats your new password aloud.
    • If you press 2, a free SMS containing your mailbox password will be sent to you.
  • As soon as you are connected with your Sunrise mailbox, press the key sequence **9 (mailbox options). Then press 5 for language option.

    1 for German

    2 for French

    3 for Italian

    4 for English
