5G fact check from asut

The roll-out of the new 5G mobile networks is progressing. Unfortunately, at the same time false reports about this technology are accumulating. The Swiss Telecommunications Association asut has once again collected publicly disseminated untruths and produced an update of its fact check on 5G.

Currently, false reports claim that 5G is responsible for the spread of corona viruses. For Stephen Powis, Director of the UK National Health Service, this is fake news with no scientific basis, which also affects the emergency response to the outbreak.

These and other false reports are corrected in the following fact checks of asut:

Fact Check April 2020
Fact Check Sept. 2019
Fact Check March 2019
