Howl 20th Anniversary Tour
Dirty, dark, uncompromising! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are back and will be bringing smoke-blackened rock'n'roll to the X-TRA in Zurich on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The album Howl, released in 2005, is 20 years old and that needs to be celebrated properly. At the time, Howl was praised as an innovative departure - honest and purist. An acoustic work with influences from folk, Americana, blues and gospel, much quieter than their previous garage rock tracks. Celebrate this legendary album together with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and relive it! In addition to songs from Howl, fans can of course also look forward to other highlights from the band's great history - from Love Burns to Beat the Devil's Tattoo.
Inspired by artists such as Iggy Pop, the Ramones and The Doors, Peter Hayes and Robert Levon Been founded the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in 1998 - based on the motorcycle gang from the movie The Wild One. The band's big breakthrough came with their debut album B.R.M.C., which was released in 2001 and was particularly successful in England. Shortly afterwards, they were invited by Noel Gallagher, an avowed fan, to play as the support act for Oasis at the Royal Albert Hall.
The trio from San Francisco have now been on stage together for over two decades with hypnotic riffs, drums and vocals that get right under your skin. However, it was almost 8 years ago that Black Rebel Motorcycle Club played their last headline show in Switzerland.
