LAURA PAUSINI - THE BIG COMEBACK A new single, a new album and a world tour
On the occasion of the release of her new single "LA MIA STORIA TRA LE DITA", which announces the upcoming cover album "IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2", Laura Pausini surprises with the announcement of her live comeback. With the "IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027", the artist will embark on her eleventh world tour in March 2026. Laura Pausini will also be performing in Switzerland, playing live at the Hallenstadion Zurich on October 15, 2026 and live at the Arena Geneva on November 1, 2026.
Just one year after the brilliant conclusion of her last, record-breaking tour, Laura Pausini will embark on her eleventh world tour in March 2026. For the first time, the artist will begin her concert tour outside of Italy: on March 27, 2026, she will open the "IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR" in Pamplona. This will be followed by further appearances in Spain, Latin America, the USA and Canada. In the fall of 2026, the tour will take in the biggest arenas in Italy and Europe before culminating in 2027 with shows in Brazil and major stadium concerts in Europe.
"For me, live performances are perhaps the most important part of any project," explains Laura Pausini. "Because the real goal of every release is the audience. On my upcoming tour, I want to visit as many cities as possible and present a show that reflects me 100%. I'm working hard to figure out which stage, which setlist and which production is best suited to capture this new chapter of my music. It's a blessing to be able to do a job that gives you so much back - and that's exactly why I'm putting myself at the service of my audience once again. For me, this tour is more than just a series of concerts: it's a personal meeting with each and every one of my fans."
The "IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027" underlines the importance and international appeal of Laura Pausini. In addition to her greatest hits, she will also present songs from her new album "IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2". The project builds on the worldwide success of her first cover album "IO CANTO / YO CANTO" from 2006, which was dedicated to the great Italian hits and made her internationally famous. Thanks to her first Grammy Award, which led to her triumphant performance at the San Siro the following year. On June 2, 2007, she made music history when she became the first woman ever to give a concert in this legendary stadium - in front of 70,000 enthusiastic fans.
"After my first Grammy, I decided to thank my home country by bringing my favorite Italian music to the world - and that's exactly what I did," says Laura Pausini. "For someone like me, who started her career in piano bars, it's perhaps natural to want to sing songs that, even if they weren't written for me, are part of my life and feel like my own. For a long time I have wanted to record another version of the covers album. The final decision was made during my last world tour, which began in 2023 and ended on New Year's Eve 2024. "IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2", which - unlike the first album - will also be released in Spanish and contains songs that I love the most from Latin American artists, is for me the essence of my profession: to pay tribute and respect to the songs of my idols. I don't put myself in the foreground, but in the service of the music - and I do it with pride."
Laura Pausini breaks records as a singer and songwriter and is considered a global pop icon. With more than 75 million records sold worldwide and over 6 billion streams, she is the most listened to Italian artist abroad. Pausini is the first and so far only Italian artist to have won a Grammy Award, reached the Billboard Hot 100 with songs, received four Latin Grammy Awards and was named "Person of the Year 2023" by the Latin Recording Academy. Her other successes include a Golden Globe, an Emmy and an Oscar nomination. She is also the first artist to have performed at both the San Siro Stadium in Milan and the Circus Maximus in Rome.
