Henry Moodie comes live to Zurich with his most personal album to date

Henry Moodie has the rare gift of transforming unadulterated emotion into pop songs that speak to everyone. Since the release of his first single "you were there for me" in 2022, the singer-songwriter has quickly become one of the UK's most captivating musical storytellers, with a billion streams and sold-out concerts worldwide.

His songs - woven of shattering heartbreak, exposed vulnerability, fragile insecurity and dreamy romance - feel as intimate as whispered confessions between friends, but unfold with melodies so irresistible they lodge themselves in our subconscious. Moodie taught himself to produce songs as a child and began posting his own cover versions on YouTube. By 2019, his videos had racked up thousands of views. When Covid-19 broke out and the whole world went into lockdown, he discovered TikTok for himself. It wasn't long before the videos he recorded in his bedroom went viral. As a digital native, he was aware of the platform's potential: "I wanted to become an artist and thought I had a good chance of building a following on TikTok. I dreamed of one day being able to release my own song."

Two acclaimed EPs followed - "in all of my lonely nights" and "good old days" - with songs such as "fight or flight" and the nostalgic, Springsteen-esque "beat up car", which underlined his versatility as an artist. Now Moodie is presenting his debut album "mood swings". It is uncompromisingly honest and characterized by the chaotic uncertainty of young adulthood. The artist shows himself from his most open and personal side. "When you hear an artist being vulnerable, you feel like you're being heard," says Moodie. "If I can achieve that for someone else, that's success for me". The album contains songs created in collaboration with Julia Michael (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber), as well as Steve Mac and Ed Sheeran and will be released on October 24, 2025.
