Brandi Carlile has today announced "The Human Tour" with arena shows in North America and Europe. Brandi Carlile will play The Hall in Zurich on October 24.
11-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile will return to the road next year with her "The Human Tour," which includes arena concerts in North America and Europe. Newly confirmed stops include Madison Square Garden in New York, Kia Forum in Inglewood, TD Garden in Boston, Target Center in Minneapolis, Chase Center in San Francisco, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, The O2 in London, 3Arena in Dublin, La Seine Musicale in Paris, The Hall in Zurich and AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
As always, paying members of Carlile's Bramily community will have the first chance to purchase tickets. Visit bramily.com to become a paying Bramily member before Sunday, October 26, and take part in the special pre-sale starting Tuesday, October 28. In Europe, pre-order Carlile's Returning To Myself on Wednesday, October 29 to gain access to the special pre-sale. Tickets for all shows will be available to the general public beginning Friday, October 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
The upcoming tour celebrates Carliles' highly anticipated new album, Returning To Myself, which will be released this Friday, October 24 via Interscope Records/Lost Highway (pre-order). On her eighth studio album and first solo project in four years, Carlile looks inward, reflects on the past and finally returns home after devoting the last few years to collaborating with music icons and legends. The album, produced by Carlile, Andrew Watt, Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon, contains ten songs, including "Human", "Church & State", "A War with Time" and the title track.
In addition to Carlile, Watt, Dessner and Vernon, the album also features their longtime bandmates Phil and Tim Hanseroth and SistaStrings (Monique and Chauntee Ross) as well as Josh Klinghoffer, Chad Smith, Matt Chamberlain, Dave Mackay, Rob Moose, Blake Mills, Mark Isham and Stewart Cole.
Carlile is an Academy Award-nominated and 11-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, performer and producer, 2-time EMMY Award-winner, composer, lyricist and author, #1 New York Times Bestseller List and activist who is recognized as one of the most respected voices in the music industry. Over the course of her acclaimed career, Carlile has released eight studio albums, including her most recent, "Who Believes in Angels?", a critically acclaimed collaboration with her childhood hero Elton John, which debuted at #1 in the UK and in the Top 10 in the US.
In addition, Carlile continues her work as a renowned producer, most recently with GRAMMY award-winning projects by Joni Mitchell and Brandy Clark. She also produced and recorded a cover version of "Closer To Fine" by Indigo Girls with her wife Catherine, which is featured on the album "Barbie The Album", as well as a version of "Home" which was featured on the final season of "Ted Lasso".
