What is a monthly insurance and what is an annual insurance?
Monthly insurance The monthly insurance has a fixed term of 1 month (30 days) and ends automatically afterwards. No cancellation is required. Annual insurance The annual insurance has a term of 1 year and automatically renews for another year unless it is cancelled. The annual insurance can be cancelled online through the insurance portal with a notice period of 30 days before the end of each contract year. Start date The start date of coverage can be freely chosen for both monthly and annual insurance. If you choose today as the start date, coverage begins after midnight on the following day.
How do I take out a Sunrise insurance?
Sunrise insurances can only be taken out online. The insurance contract is considered concluded upon receipt of a confirmation by email, which also includes the policy. You will then receive the invoice in a separate email. If payment is not made within the payment deadline stated on the invoice, the policy will be cancelled and the coverage will lapse.
