Liberty Global plc, the parent company of UPC Switzerland based in England, has submitted a takeover bid for Sunrise. Under Liberty umbrella and in keeping with its strategy, the goal is to combine the best of UPC Switzerland and Sunrise into a new company, to become the leading, fully convergent competitor.
