This feature gives you flexibility knowing your responsibilities can be handled securely even when you are away
Summary
The «Add users to act on your behalf» feature enables you to delegate access to trusted colleagues or assistants, allowing them to manage mobile subscriptions and perform tasks on your behalf. You can view and manage the list of delegates at any time, maintaining full control and transparency over who can act on your behalf.
To ensure proper authorization and data integrity, the system performs several checks before a delegate can be added. When you add a user as a delegate, the Sunrise Business Cockpit portal will first validate the email address you provide. The system checks that the email is correctly formatted, belongs to an SBC user within the same company, and isn’t your own. It also ensures the person hasn’t already been assigned as your delegate.
Once the email is validated, you’ll see the delegate’s name displayed for confirmation.
Note: Only active SBC users can be added as delegates. Otherwise the «User not found» error will be displayed.
After confirming, the user will be added to your list of delegates and will immediately have permission to act on your behalf. You can view all your delegates in a dedicated table located in your account, with the most recently added users at the top. There is no limit to how many users you can assign to act on your behalf.
You can remove a delegate at any time. If removed, their access is revoked immediately.
Note: If the delegation feature is later disabled due to your corporate policy, your existing delegates will keep their permissions, but you won’t be able to add new ones. You can revoke their access anytime in your SBC account. This ensures your current setup remains intact while respecting updated access rules.
