Digital risks are increasing and cannot be completely avoided. This makes insurance cover that offers your SME reliable support in an emergency all the more important.
Cyber attacks and legal disputes in the digital sphere are now a common part of everyday business for many SMEs. The consequences can be serious – from financial losses and business interruptions through to data loss and reputational damage. That is why reliable cybersecurity and insurance solutions are crucial in protecting businesses effectively from digital risks.
This is exactly where SME Ready Insurance comes in: the bundles combine cyber insurance, legal insurance, high-speed Internet and a cloud-based cybersecurity solution. Both insurance policies are tailored to the needs of SMEs: standardised insurance solutions at attractive fixed prices, professional support from experienced legal and cybersecurity experts and immediate assistance 24/7 if a cyber incident happens. You will be able to devote yourself entirely to your core business, confident that you are well-covered in an emergency and can get rapid help at any time.
What insurance services does SME Ready Insurance include?
For insurance solutions, Sunrise Business works with AXA, the leading insurer in Switzerland.
Business Legal Insurance is a specialised legal insurance that supports your SME in the event of legal issues in the digital sphere: violations of personal rights on the Internet, credit-card or identity misuse, contract-law disputes and Internet domain disputes. You will benefit from comprehensive legal support: for example, in assessing and pursuing claims for damages, and in initiating and pursuing legal action.
Business Cyber Insurance is cyber insurance that protects you against the direct results of cyber attacks. If your SME falls victim to a cyber attack, your insurance offers comprehensive support: immediate assistance from cybersecurity experts via the 24/7 hotline, support in fixing damage, analysis of security vulnerabilities and prevention recommendations. The insurance also covers, for example, the costs of removing malware, restoring data and systems, crisis management, as well as data-protection violations and liability claims. In the event of a business interruption, lost revenue will be compensated and the additional costs incurred to maintain operations will be covered.

How companies benefit from insurance solutions developed specially for SMEs
A restaurant owner discovers irregular debits on the company credit card. The cause: the card information has been compromised through a phishing email. Within a short space of time, several unauthorised transactions take place – with financial consequences and an administrative burden. Thanks to Business Legal Insurance, the restaurant receives support with the case’s legal processing – assessing and pursuing possible claims for damages.
A consulting firm has fallen victim to a cyber attack triggered by a phishing email. The result: access to emails, files and systems is blocked. Data has been encrypted and stolen. Business Cyber Insurance offers immediate help: specialists analyse the attack, assist the consultancy firm’s IT team in determining the appropriate course of action and cover the costs of data recovery. This allows the consultancy firm to resume operations as fast as possible.

Business Legal Insurance, on the other hand, focuses on legal disputes in the digital sphere, which are becoming more and more common with increasing digitalisation. Many traditional legal insurance products do not provide legal support for disputes of this nature. Business Legal Insurance fills precisely this gap.
