IMAP / POP settings

Most recently modified:

The main difference between IMAP and the older POP protocol is that with an IMAP account, your messages remain on the mail server and are only sent to your local computer for a short period of time so you can read them. You can access your e-mails, even already retrieved messages, from different computers.

In any case, Sunrise recommends that you use the most current IMAP protocol for your e-mail.

Your IMAP settings for Sunrise mail:

  • Server:
  • Port: 993
  • Security protocol: SSL

Your POP settings for Sunrise mail:

  • Server:
  • Port: 995
  • Security protocol: SSL
