General information about the Iconic Bundle

The Iconic Bundle consists of the Iconic Mobile plan and a smartphone* with a device plan including Smart Upgrade and Flex Upgrade of the customer’s choice, and the option of additional devices* (smartphone, tablet, watch) with a device plan and up to five extra SIM cards free of charge. Depending on the offer, more benefits can be added to the bundle. The prices of the individual bundle components are subject to the condition that the individual components are retained. A change or reduction in components during the term may change or increase the price of the individual components.

Terms and conditions for Iconic Mobile

The discount of 50% on the base fee of the mobile plan is subject to the condition that an active smartphone device plan with Flex Upgrade is continued.

The 50% discount expires if (i) the smartphone device plan is cancelled or the device has been paid off and is not replaced by a new smartphone device plan and/or (ii) the associated Flex Upgrade option is cancelled.

The mobile plan has a minimum contract period of 24 months.

Terms and conditions for a device plan with Smart Upgrade

The iPhone price is based on a Smart Upgrade discount of 25% that has already been deducted. The reduced price is then paid off in 24 monthly instalments and a down payment of CHF 1.–. Instalment payments have no interest or fees. If a customer keeps their iPhone after 24 months instead of exchanging it, they will need to pay the remaining balance, which corresponds to the Smart Upgrade discount that was originally deducted. If desired, the remaining balance can be paid off in 12 additional monthly instalments. If the old iPhone is returned after 24 months and a new device plan is activated, the remaining balance does not have to be paid.

Terms and conditions for Flex Upgrade

The Flex Upgrade option allows customers to exchange their iPhone at any time or replace a device plan with a new one. It does not matter whether the iPhone model chosen is cheaper or more expensive. The monthly fee for Flex Upgrade depends on the price of the iPhone.

It includes damage and theft insurance for the smartphone, as well as Apple Care Services and 50 GB of iCloud storage.

The Flex Upgrade option must be activated within 28 days of purchasing the device plan. After that, the option can no longer be activated, and the 50% discount on the mobile plan expires.

Flex Upgrade bundle price

The stated bundle price is for a term of 24 months. If the iPhone is exchanged via the Smart Upgrade or Flex Upgrade option during or after the 24-month term, the instalments for the device plan and the price for Flex Upgrade may change accordingly, depending on the value of the new device.

Further terms and conditions

Customers who renew their device plan with Flex Upgrade and Smart Upgrade can also benefit from a 50% discount on their mobile plan. A mobile plan with Swiss Connect Neighbors, Europe+, Global or Iconic Mobile is required. If a customer already has another or older mobile plan, they will need to migrate to Swiss Connect Neighbors, Europe+, Global or Iconic Mobile.

The Iconic Bundle combines the Iconic Mobile plan with up to five We Connect extra SIM options and Flex Upgrade – all at a discounted price. This includes up to five We Connect extra SIM watch and/or We Connect extra SIM surf options. What’s more, Flex Upgrade is included free of charge with every device plan.

Iconic Mobile offers all-inclusive data and calls within Switzerland along with unlimited high-speed 5G Internet and free calls abroad. Even abroad – in Europe, the USA and Canada – roaming, calls and data are unlimited and included at no extra cost. In other parts of the world, 1 GB of data is available per calendar month. The Iconic Bundle costs CHF 99.95/month and requires an active smartphone device plan with a 24-month term (Flex Premium Bundle). Without a device plan, the monthly price for the Iconic Mobile plan is CHF 199.90, unless the plan is eligible for the Multi-Mobile or Home Benefit.

The Iconic Bundle is ideal for anyone who uses multiple devices and values security and flexibility: It offers free device protection for all connected devices and the option of exchanging them for newer models at any time.

Extra SIMs are add-on options for the Iconic Mobile plan and use its services. For example, if you’re in Roaming Region 3 (e.g., Mauritius) and have 1 GB of data per calendar month, this volume is used by the smartphone and tablet (with We Connect extra SIM surf). Each extra SIM can also be used with a tablet or smartwatch with a device plan.

The Iconic Mobile plan covers all Sunrise Roaming Regions 1 to 3. In Region 1, calls and data are unlimited; in Regions 2 and 3, a combined data volume of 1 GB per calendar month is available. You will find an overview of the countries at sunrise.ch/roaming or in our product fact sheet.

You can switch from any Sunrise mobile plan to Iconic Mobile at any time. We Connect extra SIM surf/We Connect extra SIM watch options and Flex Upgrade that are already active are free of charge after the switch. The Flex Upgrade option can only be activated when purchasing a new device plan or within 28 days of purchasing it.

Flex Upgrade is a device and insurance service offered by Sunrise that allows you to exchange your smartphone, smartwatch or tablet at any time.
