Key Features
Camera Lens: Equipped with an automatic infrared filter for optimal view during daylight and at night.
Microphone: For hearing and recording sound.
Speaker: For talking back to person in front of the camera.
Indicator light: Indicating the camera has been triggered by movement or that the camera is relaying video footage.
USB-C Charging Cable Connection: For charging the internal battery.
Reset: Hole with built in reset button to return the camera to factory defaults after 3 quick presses.
Power Switch: For turning the camera on and off.
Instant Notification
When someone appears in front of the Indoor Camera, you will immediately receive a notification on your mobile phone with a reference to the images in the Sunrise Home Security App. This way, you can see what is happening right away. You can see and hear the person directly and talk to them, no matter where you are.
Mobile Phone Settings
The ability to view images on your mobile phone depends on the type of mobile phone. Viewing images on your mobile phone may incur data usage charges. Check with your mobile provider before viewing images on your mobile phone.
Installation
Have you got everything?
Before you start the installation check if your package contains the following items:
1 x Indoor Camera
1 x Mounting bracket to mount the camera magnetically to the wall
Screws and plugs for mounting the mounting bracket to the wall
USB-A to USB-C charging cable (Please note: no charger is included. Use a standard USB-A charger)
Sunrise Home Security door/window stickers
Charge the Indoor Camera for at least 12 hours before first use. Use the supplied USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Connect the charging cable to an existing USB-A charger. This can be any USB-A charger used for charging a mobile phone.
Turn on the Indoor Camera. The Indicator light will now light up green, and a startup sound will be heard followed by several monotone beeps. The Indoor Camera is now ready for registration.
Log in to the Sunrise Home Security App to add the camera to your Home Security Service. Tap on the “+” Symbol on your home screen and then choose “Add Device”. Select the “Add cameras / doorbells” option and follow the next steps from within the app.
Find a suitable place to install the Indoor Camera. Please keep the following in mind:
Always ensure that the Indoor Camera is aimed exclusively at your own property. The Indoor Camera should never be aimed at public space.
If you want to place the Indoor Camera at a location where there is no power outlet, the Indoor Camera must be periodically charged with a charging cable.
Place the camera at 2 meters height for most accurate Human Detection results.
The camera can be placed on a stable horizontal surface, or it can be mounted on a wall. If you mount the camera to a wall there are three methods:
Magnetically mount the camera to the mounting plate that is stuck to the wall using the supplied adhesive patch. Use the adhesive patch only on smooth, clean and grease free surfaces. This method allows for quick and easy removal of the camera when it needs to be charged.
Magnetically mount the camera to the mounting plate that is screwed to a wall using one of the supplied masonry anchor and screw. This method allows for quick and easy removal of the camera when it needs to be charged.
Screw the camera directly to the wall using two of the supplied masonry anchors and screws. Only choose this option when the camera is always powered by the USB-A to USB-C charging cable.
Now test the Indoor Camera by walking past the camera. Check if you receive a notification on your mobile phone and then view the live image from the app.
Important notes
If your wireless network has changed, you may need to reset your Indoor Camera before changing the wireless network settings.
Communication via Live Image
When viewing live images via the app, first tap the microphone button. Communication with people in front of the camera is then made possible.
Reset procedure
Press the "Reset" button three times in a row. The Indoor Camera will emit several beeps to indicate that the reset procedure is being performed.
Important Recommendation
Recordings are kept for a limited period. If you want to keep a recording longer, you need to download it.
Setting Human Detection
You can enable or disable Human Detection in the Home Security App. If you enable Human Detection, only a notification will be sent, and a recording will be made when a person is detected using smart Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
Human Detection works optimally:
When the camera is mounted at 2 meters height
For people who are fully in view at between 5 meters and 10 meters
The Indoor Camera should look at people as straight as possible
Legal Obligations
Always ensure that the Indoor Camera is aimed exclusively at your own property. The Indoor Camera should never be aimed at public space. Check if there are additional legal obligations in your country for using a security camera. We recommend placing the Sunrise Home Security door/window Stickers in a visible place.
The product is only suitable for use in a temperate or subtropical climate.
Use the product only at a temperature between -20°C and 40°C and a relative humidity of up to 100%.
Use the product in accordance with the installation and product documentation of Sunrise.
The product is not suitable for use by children and should not be considered a toy.
Do not attempt to dismantle the product as it can be dangerous and contains no parts covered by a warranty.
