Wi-Fi name and password

You will find the Wi-Fi/WLAN password (= security key) on a sticker on the bottom of the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber.

how to change the Wi-Fi name and password via your browser:

1. Open a web browser

2. Type in the browser bar http://192.168.1.1 or type http://sunrise.box

3. A login screen will appear.

4. Choose the text box, enter your password.

5. Choose LOGIN.

   Note: By default, the initial password is indicated on the label of the product.

6. You will see the web interface of Sunrise Internet Box Fiber.

7. Choose the menu of the Wi-Fi band (Wi-Fi 2.4GHz or Wi-Fi 5GHz) on which you want to change the password.

8. Scroll down.

9. Under Password, enter a new password.

10. Under Confirm Password, re-enter the password.

11. Choose Apply.

12. Choose Continue.

The password is set.

In order to reset the default password, a factory reset should be performed.

Note: A factory reset will restore all the settings to default, not only the password.

To reset the default settings and therefore restore the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber to its factory configuration, you can do it via the web interface.

1. In the welcome menu of Sunrise Internet Box Fiber, select My Sunrise Internet Box > Maintenance > Resets > Reset.

2. Press and hold the RESET button located on the bottom Sunrise Internet Box Fiber for about 10 seconds.
