Restart mobile phone

Turn your mobile phone off and then on again. This often actually helps.

It is possible that there is currently a disruption in your area or maintenance work is being carried out.

Check whether data traffic is turned on.

Check for software updates

Check if there are any software updates for your mobile phone.

Install the latest update if necessary.

Settings in My Sunrise

Make sure that Mobile Internet is not disabled. Check what’s disabled under Settings.

If you have set a cost limit, your mobile data will be disabled automatically after the limit has been reached. Check under Settings to see if you have set a monthly cost limit.

It is possible that surfing is disabled if you don’t have a data package.

Observe data roaming cost protection limit

Once the data roaming cost protection limit has been reached, we disable all data connections abroad for your security. The standard limit is CHF 100.–. However, you can adjust your data roaming cost limit yourself in the Sunrise Cockpit.


How to re-enable data connections:

Send an SMS with the text UNBLOCK to 3310.

Activate manual network selection
