    Smart routines overview

    With smart routines, you can automate your Home Security system and link it to other devices.



    Here’s an overview of the available automation options.

    Activate alarm system

    Define when the alarm should be armed:

    • Location-based: When all household members have left home

    • Calendar-based: Automatically at specific times and days

    • In combination with smart plugs: Define whether connected devices (e.g. lights, TV) should remain on


    Deactivate alarm system

    • Location-based: If the alarm is activated based on location, it can be deactivated automatically when someone returns home

    • Time-based (not recommended): Deactivation at scheduled times is also possible

    Activate Home mode

    Define how smart plugs should behave in Home mode (e.g. turn on/off certain devices or lights).

    In the case of an alarm

    Decide whether smart plugs or Hue lights should also be switched on when an alarm is triggered.

    Integrations

    Connect your Philips Hue Bridge (if available) to make all Hue lights flash in the case of an alarm.
