A second SIM card for your mobile subscription
Make full use of your Sunrise mobile subscription with a second SIM card, e.g., for your laptop/tablet (extra SIM surf) or for a GPS tracker (extra SIM track).

    Messenger services, WhatsApp or iMessage can be used simultaneously.

  • Roaming

    • You can also use your We Connect extra SIM card when you are abroad.
    • Roaming options have to be purchased and managed through your regular SIM card (main card).
    • The Sunrise data alert system also functions with the We Connect extra SIM card.
  • You can let other people use your We Connect extra SIM card, but we strongly advise against it.
    Since the We Connect extra SIM is linked to your mobile subscription and phone number, others can access your My Sunrise account.

  • You can switch from a mobile internet subscription to We Connect extra SIM and take your device plan with you, if you have a Sunrise We Mobile subscription. The extra SIM card must always be linked to a Sunrise We Mobile subscription.

  • You can use a smartphone with the We Connect extra SIM surf, but usage is limited to data services – making calls and sending SMS is not possible.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The We Connect extra SIM track, on the other hand, can’t be used with a smartphone.

  • This is not possible. The We Connect extra SIM device plan can only be used to finance a tablet or other data devices, but not smartphones.

  • The extra SIM surf & talk card is no longer available, but existing customers can continue using it.

    Important: the extra SIM surf & talk card cannot be used in modems (Wi-Fi hotspots).
  • The Sunrise multicard card is no longer available, but existing customers can continue to use them.

    Currently active multicard

    • To find out which Sunrise multicard SIM card is currently active, simply enter the following key combination: *101# Call button.
    • You will receive a message with the ID of the active SIM card: "Sunrise multicard #n status active".
    • The SIM card with number 1 is the primary card; those with numbers 2 to 5 are the additional cards.

  • Sunrise Freedom share data is no longer available, but existing customers can continue to use them.

    Simultaneous use with the main card
    Only data services and SMS/MMS can be used with Freedom Share Data, not phone calls.
