Base Station

Key functions

  • Central Hub: The Base Station acts as the central control unit in your home, connecting all Home Security sensors and accessories (such as the Keypad and Key Fob) to the cloud-based Home Security alarm system.

  • Mobile backup connection: If your fixed Internet connection fails, the built-in mobile connection is automatically activated – ensuring your alarm system always remains online.

Note: The cameras and the Video Doorbell are connected to the Home Security cloud system directly via Wi-Fi, independently of the Base Station.

Power supply and battery

  • AC Power: Connect the Base Station to a wall outlet using the AC power adapter provided in your starter set. Only ever use the included adapter.

  • Rechargeable Backup Battery: A built-in rechargeable battery ensures operation during power outages for approximately 6–8 hours.

    • During normal operation, the battery is charged automatically.

    • The battery status is shown in the app under «Base Station».

    • A full charge takes around 32 hours.
