The Half Fare Travelcard is an SBB subscription that lets you travel across Switzerland by train, bus, and tram at half price. With Sunrise Young, you get 50% off and pay the remaining amount in 12 monthly instalments via your Sunrise bill.
Activate or renew the Half Fare option in My Sunrise. Shortly after, you’ll receive a coupon worth the Half Fare Travelcard, which you can redeem at a staffed public transport sales point.
What you need to know
Redemption
After registering with Sunrise, you will receive the coupon for the Half-Fare Travelcard by post. You can redeem this coupon at any staffed public transport sales point. The letter usually arrives on the next working day.
Activation
The start date of the Half-Fare Travelcard can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance. Alternatively, you can activate the Half-Fare option immediately in your My Sunrise account, once the number porting is complete.
Duration
The option automatically expires after 12 months and is not renewed. You may cancel it at any time during the contract term. In this case, all remaining instalments for the Half-Fare Travelcard will become immediately due.

How it works:
Request the renewal about 14 days before your current card expires.
Log in to My Sunrise.
Select your phone number and activate the Half Fare renewal under “Options.”
Important:
Renewal is only possible if your current Half Fare Travelcard is still valid.
You will receive the renewal code by post, usually on the next working day.
The code must be redeemed at a public transport ticket counter before your card expires.
