Instructions to install the Apple TV Box so you can enjoy TV neo max. You will need the Apple TV Box, an HDMI cable and, if necessary, a LAN cable (or connect wirelessly via Wi-Fi).
- Plug in the Apple TV Box to the power outlet and connect it with your TV set using the HDMI cable. The Apple TV Box will start. If necessary, connect the LAN cable with your Internet router.
- Turn on your TV device and select the relevant HDMI connection in the menu. Press a button on the Apple Remote to connect it, then follow the Apple TV instructions on your TV screen until you reach the Apple TV automatic configuration screen.
Set up with an iPhone (recommended if you own an iPhone)
- Select «Set up with an iPhone»
- Select Sunrise TV neo as the «TV Provider» and enter the mobile phone number with which you registered for TV neo as the username, together with the password that you received by SMS on this phone number.
- Select load TV neo. The app loads and becomes available on the home screen of the Apple TV Box.
- After accepting the Apple Terms and Conditions, the Apple TV home screen appears with the TV neo app. Happy viewing!
Manual set up without an iPhone
- When setting up the box manually, please follow the additional steps on the screen and log in using your Apple ID during the process. If you do not have an Apple ID, you can find instructions on how to create an Apple ID here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204316. After you created an Apple ID, log in to your Apple TV.
- Please choose Sunrise TV neo as your «TV provider» and follow the steps outlined under points 4 to 6.

- Picture in picture function, up to four channels at the same time (on mobile devices)
* The function must first be activated through My TV / Settings / ComeBack TV. The full 7 Day ComeBack TV is available 7 days after the function is activated. The function can be activated directly in the app.
Supported devices and minimum requirements
- Apple TV 4 / 4K
- web browser / laptop (supported web browsers: Google Chrome 52, Firefox 48, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge in Windows 10)
- Smartphone / tablet (minimum requirements: Android 6, iOS 10)
- Samsung TV (minimum requirement: Tizen 2.4)
=> To find out the Tizen version of your TV, enter the link j2i.net/apps/userAgent/ in the Browser on your Samsung TV. Your Tizen version is now displayed on the top of the screen in white on black.
Attention: TV devices from Sony, Philips, LG, Panasonic, etc. are not supported.Using the app on several devices
Sunrise TV neo max can be installed and used on several devices; a total of six streams is possible.
Resolution
Currently more than 200 SD and 80 HD channels are available in the app.
Premium services
Premium channels (Animal Planet, etc.), sports events on demand as well as certain pay TV packages (Teleclub, etc.) are not available with Sunrise TV neo. -

For problems with the app on an iPhone/iPad, please perform the following steps:
- Check whether the iOS version on the device is up-to-date (Settings > General > Software Update). Perform an update, if available.
- Check whether updates are available for the TV neo app and install it.
- Deactivate active VPN/proxies because these block our service.
- Delete the Sunrise TV neo app, turn the iPhone/iPad off, and install the app again after restarting the device.

For problems on the Android smartphone/tablet, please complete the following steps:
- Delete app cache:
- Navigate in the menu from "Settings" to "Apps". Depending on the interface and Android version this menu item may vary.
- Choose Sunrise TV neo by tapping on it.
- Select "Force stop".
- Scroll down in the same menu and under "Cache", tap on "Delete cache". - Re-installing the Sunrise TV neo app:
- Uninstall the app (Settings > Apps > Sunrise TV neo > Uninstall)
- Restart the device (just turn it off and then on)
- Re-install the app (Google Play > Sunrise TV neo) - Deleting the app data:
- Click under "Settings" on Sunrise TV neo
- Delete the app data - Perform a software update for your device (if available)
- Deactivate the proxy settings and VPN connections
If your IP address is not clearly identifiable, the service is blocked.
- Delete app cache:

The quality of the streams depends directly on the Internet connection. First check your Internet connection.
Minimum requirements:- Smartphone: 2.6 Mbit/s
- Tablet: 3.6 Mbit/s
- Web Browser: 3.6 Mbit/s

The data usage depends on the video quality and the device on which you use TV neo.
- On a smartphone: 1.2 GB/hours are used to view an HD channel
- On a tablet or web browser: 1.6 GB/hour

TV neo can only be used within Switzerland and with a Swiss mobile number.

Payment options
The following payment options are available:- Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express)
Credit cards, that were issued in the USA, GB, and Japan are not accepted. Credit cards that were issued in other countries, as well as different currencies, work without any problem. The monthly fee is posted in Swiss francs that are converted to the local currency. The country of issuance for the bill is Switzerland, meaning additional fees could be incurred for payments made abroad. For more information, please contact your credit card provider. Existing customers are charged by default with the monthly fee on their bill.
The payment method can be changed at any time through My Sunrise.Change password
The password can be changed directly in the app. To do so, click on My TV / Admin / Change password.
Password forgotten
The password can be requested via My Sunrise at any time. Alternatively, click in the login screen for the app on "Password forgotten"
Change login number
The login number (mobile number) can be changed at any time via My Sunrise.
Important: A mobile number can only be linked with one active Sunrise TV neo account
Canceling Sunrise TV neo
Sunrise TV neo can be canceled at the end of the month or end of the next billing period (credit card). The cancellation can be made via My Sunrise.

TV neo
Due to technical restrictions, we will deactivate TV neo for We Mobile customers who have signed up for TV neo but have not used it for at least 2 months. You can, however, reactivate it at any time in My Sunrise under the same conditions (free of charge as long as We Mobile (Young) L / XL is active).
TV neo light
Due to technical restrictions, we will deactivate TV neo light for We Mobile customers who have signed up for TV neo light but have not used it for at least 2 months. You can, however, reactivate it at any time in My Sunrise under the same conditions (free of charge as long as We Mobile (Young) M is active). -
You need to log in before you can watch a TV program. If you have not logged in, the following error message will appear:
You log in via My TV. Click on Log In.
On the next screen, enter the mobile number you registered with, as well as the password you received via SMS. Agree to the Terms of Use and then click on Log In.

If you are using a Samsung Smart TV / Apple TV, you can use the "Quick Login" feature to log in. Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the Sunrise TV neo login screen of your Samsung TV / Apple TV and follow the instructions on your mobile phone.

Change password
The password can be changed directly in the app. To do so, click on My TV / Admin / Change password.
Password forgotten
The password can be requested via My Sunrise at any time. Alternatively, click in the login screen for the app on "Password forgotten" -
To add a program to your recording list, click on the corresponding camera symbol
Now you can select either one-time recording or series recording. If you choose series recording, all future episodes of the series you selected will also be recorded.
After you've successfully added a program to your recording list, this confirmation message will appear and the camera symbol will have a white background. This indicates that the program in question is scheduled for recording.
Scheduled recordings and programs that have already been recorded can be found in My TV.
If you go to the Scheduled section, you will see scheduled series recordings under Series.
The frame below shows you how many of the 100 hours available for recordings are still left.
To view more information on scheduled recordings, click on the three dots.

You can activate or deactivate Replay TV in My TV.
Click on Settings.
In Settings, click on Replay TV.
Now activate Replay TV. Please note that the full 7 days of Replay TV will not become available to you until 7 days after you activate Replay TV.

If only Wi-Fi (WLAN) is allowed for playing back and downloading content, this message will appear if no Wi-Fi (WLAN) is available.
In My TV, you can choose which purposes mobile data should be used for.
Click on Settings
Click on Play and Download
Select the desired options. The options are:
- Use mobile data to play content
- Use mobile data for download
Wi-Fi (WLAN) will automatically be used for the options you don't activate

Add favorites
To add a channel to your favorites, select the desired channel and click on the Heart+ symbol in portrait mode.
Channels that are already in your favorites list are marked with a white heart.
View favorites list (3 options)
There are 3 ways to view your favorites list:
- Click on Favorites in Live TV
2. Click on Favorite Channels in My TV
3. While watching programs in landscape mode, click on the display and then on the List symbol in the upper right corner.
Then click on Favorites
Deleting channels from the favorites list
The channel sequence can only be changed by adding channels. The channels added most recently appear at the top of the list, and once channels have been added, the sequence can no longer be changed.
Click on Favorite Channels in My TV and then click on Edit.
Select the channels that you don't want on the list and then click on Delete.

Downloading content from ComeBack TV
To download content from ComeBack TV, select the desired program in the Home area of ComeBack TV.
Note: ComeBack TV must already be activated to do this.
Alternatively, you can select the desired channel in the Live TV area and then scroll back to the desired program.
Click on the desired program.
A pop-up with the options Download and Play will open; select Download.
Now select the desired quality for the download. You can choose from Low to High.
After the download, you will see the confirmation message "Download successfully completed."
Downloading recorded programs
Click on Recorded under My Recordings in My TV.
Select the program that you wish to download. To do this, either click on the List symbol or on the name of the program.
The program will play after you click on its name. To download, click on the display again and then on the Arrow symbol in the upper right corner.
You'll find pending and already downloaded programs under My Downloads in My TV.
Pending downloads are shown in Pending Downloads.
The amount of storage space still available for additional downloads is shown in Pending Downloads.
Click on Edit to delete pending downloads.
Click on Delete

Click in landscape mode on the Play/Pause symbol in the upper right corner.
Select the channels (two to at most four) you wish to watch simultaneously. Confirm your selection by clicking on the two to four channels to be added.
The channel for which the sound is on (audio) is highlighted in a white frame. Click on the picture of another channel to switch to audio from that channel
You can change the arrangement of the channels by clicking on the List symbol.
Choose your arrangement
Click on the Play/Pause symbol in the upper right corner again to change the channels.
Click on "x" in the upper left corner to go back to viewing just one channel.

In portrait mode
Click on the picture of the current channel and then click on the Picture-in-Picture symbol in the upper right corner.
Now you can view the program in the small window in the lower right corner. You can move this window around as desired. Now you can browse through other channels.
In landscape mode
Click on the screen and then on the List symbol in the upper right corner.
This function is not available in ComeBack TV.
Now you can browse through all channels or in favorites.

As a TV neo max customer, you can stream to your TV directly from your iPhone and iPad, e.g. if you don’t have a Samsung TV (from 2016 or newer) or Apple TV (4th generation) that has its own dedicated TV neo app.
Requirements:
- Valid TV neo max subscription
- iPhone/iPad with iOS 11 or higher
- Current version of the Google Home app – download in the App Store
- Chromecast (1st & 2nd generation and Chromecast Ultra)
- Display with HDMI input
- Internet connection
You will find a detailed guide to setting up Chromecast in the Google Support Center (here).
Once Chromecast has been set up, you can get started:
- Open the TV neo app on your iPad/iPhone and select a program.
- Click on the cast symbol and select the target device on which you would like to play the program
- The film will load and be played on the target device
- To switch to a different title, simple select a new program (Live or ComeBack TV or Recording) and click on the cast symbol.
- Click on the cast symbol again to disconnect.
