Choose the perfect location
The Connect Box 4 Fiber needs sufficient space. The signal is transmitted from the upper front side. For optimum reception, make sure the box is positioned upright and facing into the room. It should not be hidden inside a cabinet or placed behind the TV. If you use the modem via Wi‑Fi, it should be positioned as openly as possible. As OTO outlets are sometimes located inside multimedia cabinets, we recommend placing the modem outside the cabinet whenever possible to ensure optimum WiFi reception.

Important! Use the new cable when installing the device
Even if your old cable looks exactly the same as the new one, improvements are constantly being made. Your old cable probably no longer meets our quality standards. It could have internal damage that causes malfunctions. Avoid signal loss or unnecessary hardware replacements and install your Connect Box 4 Fiber using the cable supplied.
Installation
Make sure your Internet service has been activated. Have your OTO port number (1-4) ready. You’ll find it in your service activation message.
Check your order status anytime in My Sunrise under Activities.

After connecting the modem, the touch display will automatically guide you through the setup process.
During this process:
The Internet connection is checked.
The installation is completed.
Your WiFi credentials are provided.
