BLACK HUMOR in «Triangle of Sadness»
The movie that won the 2022 Cannes Film Festival follows celebrity couple Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean) on a superyacht for the superrich (with a wonderful Woody Harrelson as the skipper), where the situation quickly gets out of hand. A short while later, Carl and Yaya find themselves stranded on a deserted island, together with a few billionaires. According to director Ruben Östlund, the movie title «Triangle of Sadness» refers to the shape of the worry wrinkles between the eyebrows, which can be removed by plastic surgeons in 15 minutes with Botox.
