Valentina Ivic has been with Sunrise for around three years and helped create the loyalty programme right from day one. With lots of passion and a keen sense for what customers like, she works with the Sponsorship & Loyalty Team to ensure Sunrise customers don’t get just any old mobile or Internet plan, but that they also get to experience unforgettable moments.
In this interview, she tells us how Sunrise Moments has developed over the past three years, what new partners like Circus Knie, Europa-Park, MAAG Moments and Pathé Cinemas are all about, and why working at the bar at Zurich Openair is one of her truly special highlights.
Sunrise: How has Sunrise Moments developed since its launch three years ago in April 2022?
Valentina: In the beginning, we concentrated primarily on music with Sunrise Moments. The focus was on discounted festival tickets, priority tickets for concerts and tickets for the Sunrise starzone Lounge at festivals and concerts. These offers are part of «Sunrise starzone», our partnership with Ticketcorner.
But since then, our range of offers has expanded steadily. The number of festivals for which we’re able to offer discounted tickets has almost doubled. As a main partner of Swiss-Ski, we offer discounted tickets to several home World Cup events in winter, including major events like Adelboden and Wengen. And to complete the package there are the prize draws offering customers the chance to win unique experiences at the World Cup races and to meet athletes.
And for anyone who’s not into music or winter sports, there are discounts available for lots of cultural events, such as the TUTANKHAMUN exhibition in the MAAG Halle.
How important is it for Sunrise to deliver a real customer experience, and how does Sunrise Moments contribute to this?
New customers often benefit from cool introductory offers and attractive promotions. With Sunrise Moments, we want to thank our long-standing customers for their loyalty by giving them something back – namely, unforgettable moments. One example of this is free access to the Sunrise starzone Lounge at lots of festivals, where customers can enjoy a wonderful view, a free welcome drink and many other goodies. It’s treats like these that make all the difference and take a concert experience to the next level.
That’s also one of the reasons why I love my job so much. We don’t need to convince our customers of anything, as they’re already loyal to us – we can just give something back to them.

In your opinion, what have been the biggest highlights for Sunrise Moments so far?
That’s not an easy question to answer. One of the biggest highlights in recent months has been offering priority tickets for Travis Scott and Imagine Dragons. Last December, we also started selling ski day passes with a 25% discount, and in the first season we’ve been able to offer discounted tickets for 13 ski regions, including Arosa-Lenzerheide, Flims Laax Falera and Nendaz 4 Vallées.
What prompted you to add Circus Knie, Europa-Park, MAAG Moments and Pathé Switzerland Cinemas as new partners?
We’re constantly working to expand what we’ve got and also ask our customers directly what they want. The feedback clearly shows that there’s a great deal of interest in family-friendly offers. So we asked ourselves which partnerships would be a good fit.
Circus Knie, Europa-Park, MAAG Moments and Pathé Switzerland are perfect for our loyalty programme. And the best thing about these new partnerships is that we can offer them to a wide audience, whether it's a person on their own, with friends or with family.
What benefits will these new partnerships offer our customers?
They’ll be able to take advantage of 25% off tickets for Circus Knie, and some of these even include exclusive peeks behind the scenes.
For Europa-Park, customers will get a 25% discount on a day trip to Europa-Park with Eurobus – from 36 departure points in Switzerland. Thanks to the partnership with MAAG Moments, our customers don’t just get discounted tickets but also enjoy exclusive glimpses backstage at each venue and the chance to meet music stars in person – for example, the cast from the musical «Billy Elliot». The latest of these three partnership offers is tickets for Pathé Switzerland Cinemas. Customers can enjoy a 2-for-1 deal on tickets, giving them twice the fun when they’re at the cinema.
How do you see the future of Sunrise Moments? What can our customers look forward to?
I don’t want to give too much away, but you can be sure that we’re only just getting started with Sunrise Moments. We’re constantly adding new offers and providing our customers with even more unforgettable moments. And of course December isn’t December without our Sunrise Moments Advent calendar – we give away great prizes and make lots of people very happy.
Final question: What’s your own personal «unforgettable experience» that you’ve had with Sunrise Moments?
Oh, that’s not so easy. I’ve had lots of them with Sunrise Moments. One thing I'll definitely always remember is when we worked as a team at Zurich Openair 2024. The Sponsorship & Loyalty Team ran the bar in the «Sunrise starzone Lounge» on two evenings. Although the work is very different from our day-to-day tasks and the days were long, the time flew by. It was definitely a unique experience to work behind the bar and get to chat with customers while Sam Smith performed on stage in the background. We even heard valuable feedback and input from customers about the future of Sunrise Moments.
