This self-reflection leads her to consider showcasing her legendary singing voice one final time. Pablo Larraín’s biopic is a film of gentle tones but emphasises all the right notes, casting its leading figure in the right light.

Oscar-winning «Parasite» director Bong Joon Ho drew on all his resources in this, his first English-language film.

And now there’s an exciting new case to investigate! Mysterious things happen in the apartment of Mr Prentice (Ulrich Tukur). Fans of the three question marks will enjoy this second outing too. Child sleuths are always better anyway.
Caregiver stress in «Heldin» – available in the VoD store from 19 June
Nurse Floria (Leonie Benesch) masters stressful daily life on the surgical ward of a cantonal hospital with real passion and professionalism. But when there’s a shortage of staff on a late shift, her work becomes a race against time. We applauded nursing staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this film is a further mark of appreciation. Petra Volpe’s brilliant melodrama will get under your skin right from the start: it will entertain you and move you to tears. Don’t miss it!
Pamela Anderson in «The Last Showgirl» – available in the VoD store from 12 June
For 30 years, Shelly (Pamela Anderson) has performed every night as a dancer in the «Razzle Dazzle» show in Las Vegas. The performances, the costumes and her showgirl surrogate family mean everything to her. When it’s announced that the show is coming to an end, her world collapses. Alongside her best friend, waitress Annette (portrayed brilliantly by Jamie Lee Curtis), Shelly strives to get through the final days before the last show with grace. This is the most unvarnished version of the «Baywatch» star we’ve ever seen. Very intense!
