Sunrise products aren’t available just in the Sunrise shop

You know them, the Sunrise shops. And perhaps you’ve already used our online channels or been in touch with Sunrise Telesales. But you’ve also got the option of buying your products and services via our partners such as Mobilezone, Mediamarkt, Interdiscount or specialist retailers. Read this blog to find out more about our extensive partner network and why we work with them.

In most cases, the partners we work with don’t just sell Sunrise products, but those of our competitors too. However, the products and services you get from these partners are the same as those available from the Sunrise sales and service channels. Our partners include Mobilezone, mass retailers such as Media Markt or Interdiscount, specialist retailers and network partners.  

In figures:  

  • Mobilezone: 127 locations in Switzerland and over 470 employees  

  • Specialist retailers (third-party retail): 50 independent partners 

  • Mass retailers: 25 large and 20 smaller (ex-M-Electronics) Media Markt shops and 170 Interdiscount shops 

  • Sunrise network partners: Cable-network operators in which Sunrise owns a stake or which distribute Sunrise services 

  • Service points: External partners, mostly TV and electronics shops, which used to complement the UPC shops. Today: 10 locations. In addition to selling Sunrise products, they take on service tasks such as accepting old TV Boxes, installing fixed connections, fixing Internet faults, etc.  

The reason we work with partners on top of the 100 or so Sunrise shops and the online and telesales channels is simple: we want to offer you Sunrise close to where you are, regardless of where you live. (You can find all Sunrise shops and partners in the Shopfinder) And for the customer proximity that Sunrise wants to offer, it’s important to choose the locations of partners, especially the specialist retailers, so that they complement the Sunrise shop locations. The partners’ portfolios are the same as you’ll find in the Sunrise shops. 

 "The partners' agents get regular product training, especially on new products. It’s our top priority to make sure our partners’ agents have the same training as our Sunrise agents. Sunrise customers should enjoy the same service from our partners that they  experience in Sunrise shops," explains Stéphane Waeber, Senior Director Indirect Retail. This applies whatever the issue the customer brings to our partners – switching to Sunrise, questions about the subscription, subscription adjustments, etc.
